1. Reservation of accommodation and other services

Reservation of accommodation and other services Reservation of accommodation and other services at Bouda Klínovka and confirmation of this reservation by the responsible person is possible in writing, i.e. via the reservation systems of Bouda Klínovka at https://klinovka.com/rezervace/#rezervace, www.hotel.cz, www.penzion.cz or by e-mail at: recepce@klinovka.com or via www.booking.com. The confirmation of the reservation is considered to be either an automatic e-mail confirmation generated by the respective online reservation system or an e-mail confirmation from the responsible person. Reservations require payment of 100% of the accommodation costs in advance, unless a different condition is specified by one of the booking systems. Only after payment has been made will the reservation be confirmed.Booking.com’s booking system is used for booking and payment of accommodation costs, subject to the rules of the Booking.com booking system.

2. Cancellation or modification of accommodation and other services

Cancellation or modification of a paid reservation under point 1. is possible 14 days or earlier before the scheduled start of the stay for stays of two nights or longer. Cancellation or modification of a paid reservation according to point 1. is not possible for reservations for one night. You can transfer this reservation to another person free of charge. Please send cancellation requests to storno@klinovka.com. The procedure set out in point 2 above does not apply to bookings made via Booking.com. Cancellations or changes to bookings are subject to Booking.com’s policy

3. Client no-show

If the client does not arrive on the booked date, the reservation will be cancelled without refund. Check-in on the booked date is defined as the day of arrival by 20.00. A later check-in date can be arranged individually in writing to info@klinovka.com . An e-mail confirmation from the responsible person is considered as confirmation of the later check-in date. The accommodation provider reserves the right not to accommodate the client without giving a reason, especially in case of late arrival (after 8 pm) of the client. In this case, the reservation will be cancelled without refund. The no-show policy for bookings made through Booking.com is governed by the rules of this portal.

4. Check-in and check-out times

Check-in is possible between 16:00 and 20:00. If you arrive later than 8pm, the above applies. Early check-in is possible if the reserved room is available, free of charge, upon agreement with the reception of Bouda Klínovka.

The guest is obliged to vacate the room (check-out) on the last day of the valid reservation by 10 am. Later check-out is possible only after prior agreement with the reception.

These general terms and conditions are effective from 1.1.2025.

PART II – PRIVACY POLICY

We hereby inform you, the users of our website www.klinovka.com customers, suppliers, as the operator of Bouda Klínovka, František Zálešák, ID: 28260678, with registered office at Přední Labská 86, 543 51 Špindlerův Mlýn, together with all staff, about the collection of personal data and privacy policy described below.

This policy applies if you use our services, browse our website or contact us in any of the possible ways, i.e. primarily by phone or e-mail.

When you use our services, it is important to us that the processing of your information is completely understandable, transparent and that you are aware of all your rights.

In this Privacy Policy (the „Policy“) we explain:

  • What information we collect and how we collect it;
  • How we use the information we collect and on what legal basis;
  • How long we process the information we collect;
  • Who has access to the information collected;
  • What rights you have in relation to the information collected and how to exercise them.

1. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect the following information:

Information you provide to us. This is your personal information that you tell us when you contact us or are interested in our services. You generally provide this information to us by filling out and submitting a form on our website, by ordering our services via email or if you come to stay with us. This includes, for example, your name, surname, email address, telephone number or the name of the organisation you represent.

Information we collect when you use our services. We may collect information about how you use our services, how satisfied you are with our services and whether you enjoyed your stay with us.

In the event that you intend to stay with us with your children under the age of 16, or children entrusted to you, we will also process their personal data to the same extent and for the same purposes as for adults.

We process your personal data in accordance with the above Policy on the basis of the performance of a mutual contract or your request, the performance of our legal obligations, our legitimate interest or your consent, if any, given for specific processing. We will always assess whether your consent is required before using information for a purpose not set out in this Policy. If so, we will inform you and ask for your consent.

Our legitimate interests on the basis of which we process your personal data are based on our relationship with you. In particular, our legitimate interests for processing your personal data are:

  • Contacting and informing you in the course of our mutual business relationship, including the possible implementation of direct marketing;
  • Improving our services;
  • Promoting our services;
  • Keeping records relating to your economic situation;
  • Effective provision of customer support services;
  • Protecting our and your legal claims.

We use your data in our internal documentation, where we keep records of where your personal data is stored, how it is secured, whether your data has been deleted, who deleted it and when, so that we are able to demonstrate our compliance with data protection legislation and also to fulfil our other obligations under other legislation.

You can refuse the processing of your personal data for the purpose of sending you commercial communications at any time and this will not affect our other relationships. If you are unsure whether your consent to receive such communications has been given, or if you wish to withdraw your consent, simply send us an email with the relevant request to recepce@klinovka.com, or to any other address from which you have received commercial communications from us. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to withdrawal. Your personal data will not be used for the purpose of any automated decision-making, including profiling.

2. HOW LONG WE PROCESS THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Your personal information is only ever used for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

3. WHO HAS ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION

We are careful to protect personal information and never sell databases of personal information. We only pass on personal data to third parties for the purposes stated above, and only to the extent necessary.

Your Personal Data will be processed for us by processors who provide us with

  • Server, web, cloud or IT services;
  • Accounting services

We will only process your Personal Data ourselves within the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Where we transfer your personal data to third parties, we always do so on the basis of an adequate contract with those parties so that we can monitor how the third parties handle your personal data.

4. HOW WE SECURE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We understand that securing personal data so that it cannot be misused is an important obligation we have to you. Therefore, we strive to effectively use the best possible security measures to prevent the misuse or other unauthorised interference with your personal data. As part of our activities, we will do everything in our power to prevent such a security incident from occurring, in particular, we will regularly train all our employees who come into contact with your personal data on the subject of data protection, we will adopt and familiarise our employees with the internal company regulations governing the protection of your personal data and we will always use modern technical solutions to secure our processing.

However, if, despite our best efforts, a security incident should occur and such incident could pose a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will promptly inform you of such fact by providing you with an email address and by posting such information on our website, including any necessary details.

We have taken the following measures to safeguard your personal data:

  • Organisational security. We take care to secure your personal data against human factors risks, in particular:
    • We have adopted and maintain internal security guidelines and documents;
    • We regularly provide training to employees and other personnel on the rules of working with personal data and information security risks;
    • We contractually regulate the liability of employees, external collaborators, contractors and other third parties with access to your personal data;
    • We have adopted and maintain standardized processes regarding the handling of your personal information.
  • Technical measures. We have implemented important technical measures to ensure the security of your Personal Data, including:
    • Access to systems containing personal data only under password;
    • Regular maintenance of the devices on which the data will be stored;
    • Ensuring protection by antivirus, firewall, means to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing personal data and means of processing;

5. WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE IN RELATION TO THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

You have the following rights in relation to our processing of your personal data:

  • Right of access to personal data;
  • The right to rectification;
  • The right to erasure („right to be forgotten“);
  • Right to restriction of data processing;
  • The right to object to processing;
  • Right to data portability;
  • Right to lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data.

Your rights are explained below to give you a clearer idea of their content.

The right of access means that you can ask us at any time to confirm whether or not personal data relating to you is being processed and, if so, for what purposes, to what extent, to whom it is disclosed, for how long we will process it, whether you have the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or to object, where we obtained the personal data and whether or not automated decision-making, including profiling, is taking place as a result of the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data, the first provision of which is free of charge, and we may charge a reasonable administrative fee of CZK 100 for further provision.

The right to rectification means that you can ask us to correct or complete your personal data at any time if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

The right to erasure means that we must erase your personal data if (i) it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed, (ii) the processing is unlawful, (iii) you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, (iv) we are under a legal obligation to do so, or (v) in relation to personal data for which you have given consent to the processing, you withdraw that consent.

The right to restrict processing means that until we have resolved any disputed issues regarding the processing of your personal data, we may not process your personal data other than by storing it and, where appropriate, using it only with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

The right to object means that you can object to the processing of your personal data that we process for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, in the exercise of official authority, for direct marketing purposes or for legitimate interest, including profiling based on our legitimate interest. If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes. If you object to processing based on other grounds, we will evaluate the objection and then tell you whether we have complied with the objection and will no longer process your data, or that the objection was not justified and processing will continue. In any case, processing will be restricted until the objection is resolved.

The right to data portability means that you have the right to obtain personal data relating to you which you have provided to us on the basis of consent or contract and which is also processed by automated means, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to have that personal data transmitted directly to another controller.

If you have a comment or complaint about data protection or a query about the data protection officer of our company, or if you exercise any of your rights, please contact our data protection officer at recepce@klinovka.com. We will respond to your questions or comments within one month.

Our activities are also supervised by the Data Protection Authority, to whom you can lodge a complaint if you are dissatisfied. You can find out more on the website (www.uoou.cz).

CHANGES TO THE PRINCIPLES

Our Policy may be amended from time to time. We will publish any changes to the Privacy Policy on our website and if there are significant changes we will notify you in more detail (for some services we may notify changes to the Policy by email). We archive previous versions of this Policy for you to access in the future.

This Policy is effective as of September 1, 2020.

HOW TO GET HERE

It is not possible to reach the hut with your car. Klínovka is located behind the first zone of KRNAP. We want to have the right energy here at Klínovy Boudy. We think that cars simply don’t belong here on the peaks. We believe that our guests will also appreciate the peace, fresh air and unobstructed views of the valley. If you cannot walk to us, we will be happy to drive you to Strážný and then take you back to the valley for the price of CZK 1.500 per trip.
